EDO Construction Company Inc. was established in Bridgeport, CT in 1969 by Ergidio “Gino” Marini.  Gino focused on mainly concrete walks and curbs in the Fairfield and New Haven County areas.  EDO normally employed two to three laborers.  His daughter, Jenny, was responsible for the office duties.  In 1976, his son, Rick, joined along with Jack Branco to run the day to day operations in the field.  Gino retired in 1990, leaving Rick in charge.  Gino continued to serve as an advisor until his death in 1995.  Julie Marini, Rick’s wife, took over the office obligations around 1986 and continues to serve as office manager.  The company moved to its present location in Milford at 76 Old Gate Lane.  The new location contains 5000 sq. ft. of garage, warehouse and office space.

Today, EDO consists of eight employees.  The company has built a reputable list of clients who continue to provide EDO with approximately 60% of its’ gross sales.

EDO also acts as a General Contractor on various sites and flat work projects for municipalities throughout the state.  The company continues to provide high quality work at competitive prices.
